DIY Candy Decor Ideas | DIY Lollipop & DIY Peppermint Candy | DIYs Made Out of Paper Plates

Hello! Today I'm going to talk about how you can make your very own paper plate lollipop and a paper plate peppermint candy. You can use these for a candy party, a Christmas party, or you can use it to design a room.

These DIYs made out of paper plates are really easy to make and they're both perfect Christmas room decoration ideas too.

Let's get started! You can watch the video below or you can read how you can make it below.

What you will need for both of these DIYs is:

Two paper plates for each candy, paint, a pencil, a paintbrush, a stick (for the lollipop), scissors, ribbon, glue gun and cellophane wrap (can be used for both DIYs).

For the lollipop, you can draw on any type of design onto the back of the paper plates and then you can paint it any color. I drew a swirl onto the paper plate but you can go with something else like polka dots.

You can draw on the design on both paper plates or on just the one that will shown in the front.

When the plate is dry, you want to take the plate that will be in the back and place the top side of the plate down facing you. Then you want to glue the stick on the edge of the plate.

After you glue the stick on, you can put glue on the edge of the paper plate and place the other plate on top of it.

The last thing you have to do is tie a bow to the stick and trim the ribbon if you need to. If you want you can wrap a piece of cellophane wrap around the plates and tie a bow around the stick and cellophane wrap.

For the peppermint candy, you want to follow the same steps as the lollipop by drawing a design onto the back of the paper plate and painting it in. I also did a swirl with this candy too.

When the plates are dry, you can glue the top of the plates together.

Then you want to take the cellophane wrap and wrap it around the candy and leave some on the sides of the candy.

After you wrap the candy you want to tie a piece of ribbon both sides of the cellophane wrap and trim the ribbon if you need to.

That's it! What do you think about these candy decoration ideas?
